Join our mission to help every worthy member attend the temple

About Us

Our Mission

Founded in 2024, Sweetwater Rescue partners with non-profit organizations to provide comprehensive support services to members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who desire to make sacred temple covenants but who are limited by distance or means. Our services include logistics planning, group organization, donation collection, payment of travel costs (flights, buses, lodging, and food), volunteer applications, temple coordination, and sacred clothing distribution. We are dedicated to making an eternal difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters, and we invite you to join us.

Whether you are a local leader needing help or someone wanting to help those in need in meaningful ways, our platform and services are here to connect and assist.

Our organization desires to see all God's children make temple covenants. We treat all donations as the sacred sacrifices they are and 100% of donations go directly to temple excursions.

Our Programs

Making a Difference

Sweetwater Rescue has assembled the core services needed by stake and district leaders to plan excursions from remote areas to the closest temples. We provide step-by-step instructions to help organize the resources in the area, we handle arrangements and payment of transportation, lodging, and food service providers, and we ensure that first-time temple attendees receive the sacred clothing they need.

Our donors' sacred gifts go directly to covering the costs of travel and clothing. We maximize the value by working closely with local leaders to enlist members of the Church to help with housing, feeding, and even the transportation. We have found that the most meaningful experiences are had when those in the local stake and district get to participate in this amazing work.

We also can help our donors participate directly in excursions at their expense.
